2021/2022 Lisburn Winter League
Thanks to everyone who took part in the 2021/2022 winter league. We had 40 entrants and a good standard of chess.
Results are as follows.
1st Place: Pat Coleman 10.5/12
Pat is a very strong player and only drew 3 games throughout the season. Congratulations on a fantastic result.
2nd Place: Jack Edens and Neil Gardner 9/12
Jack has been playing for only a year and this result shows he has a big future in Ulster chess.
Neil has been playing forever and every once in a while can surprise you!
3rd Place: Michael Sheerin and Steven Eachus 8.5/12
Both men are tough opponents and it was only due to Neil's pairings that they didn't finish in 2nd place. Well done gents.
4th place: Dylan Moran 7.5/12
Another new player who will only get better. I expect him to win the league soon!
5th place: Michael Hood and Martin Johnson 7/12
Both men played well this season and should be extremely proud of their performances.
